The Frank Buck Zoo will reopen on Saturday, June 22 following the flood which occurred on June 18th. 112 animals were evacuated in a little over two hours, the staff did a phenomenal job. Zoo Staff at times waded through water chest high, to retrieve animals from their exhibits. The Dallas Zoo graciously sent a crew of 13 staff members for two consecutive days to assist with clean-up and return animals to their enclosures.
